This story happened a year ago when my sister in law decided to stay at a boarding house as she took her review for her CPA board exam. The place is really inviting, as it is located in a university belt and near her review school. It's really funny remembering her packing almost all her things for that house. She seemed happy on her few months stay there, as I've never heard any comments from her since she often comes home to spend her weekend with us.
I was surprised one night when she got home at almost midnight considering it's a weekday and knowing she has a class early the next morning. I asked her why and she said that there's a ghost in their boarding house and she don't want to sleep there without at least one of her two roommates. She then told us what happened during her stay and these are a few of them.
One day when she was alone, she lied down to take some rest after doing some chores. Suddenly, she heard a knock on the door and stood up to open it if it's one of her roommates. No one's there when she opened the door. She even checked their hallway. She knew she wasn't asleep yet and knows she wasn't just dreaming that knocking sound. She ignored the thought of it and when she was almost asleep, she heard a knocking sound again. She ran to open the door but no one's there. Being a born again Christian she doesn't believe in ghosts because she thinks it's just a work of the devil so she'd be distracted and not pass her exam.
She didn't tell her roommates about these "weird" things happening in that dormitory until the time that she had to sleep in another room just to have some company. They talked about things like boys they like and such, until they ended up talking about some freaky things in the place. She then confirmed that she was not the only one who experiences strange things around. She then learned that one of her roommates who's reviewing for the bar exam has a third eye. She knew that there are ghosts in the place but through her past experiences, she learned to ignore them.
But then my sister in law's roommate never failed to share some of her experiences that she ignored since there are only three of them in that particular room. She told them that there's one time when she was lying in her bed, she noticed an image of a woman beside her while she was reading some of her books alone. There is also a time that she was awakened by the image of a dark, headless image standing beside her bed. She sleeps on the upper bed of a double deck. There's even a time when she was alone at their terrace talking to her boyfriend over the phone when suddenly she felt that something strange was beside her. She then ended her conversation with her boyfriend when she saw the image started to stare back at her and was actually listening to her conversation on the phone.
I was so scared upon hearing her ghost story about her boarding house. I just thank God I don't have a third eye. It would've scared the hell out of me.
