I don't have a third eye but I have experienced quite a few scary situations involving ghosts. Most of them are just minor occurrences but one memory particularly stands out the most as the most chilling and terrifying ghost experience I have so far gone through in my life.
It happened during a hiking trip with my friends in a wooden area in Staten Island New York. We were composed of a party of 8 people and there was a cabin where we could stay for the night. It was a beautiful place with lots of trees and a nearby pond, it's like you went back in time as the only electricity running was a small lamp by the dining room, no radios and television. We were really having a good time just talking and drinking whiskey and munching on some foods that we brought along our trip.
It was almost 11:00 pm so five of my friends decided to retire early because we still had to go explore the next morning, so I was left with Casey and Jeff just goofing around and telling stories when all of a sudden we noticed a shadow move inside the dining room, I stood up and checked if there's anybody there and I saw nobody, I went to the room and saw all of my friends sleeping on their sleeping bags.
I went back to the living room which was lit up by two candles standing on a candle holder and I told Casey and Jeff that everybody is sound asleep already. Jeff said maybe somebody is spying on us and the shadow came from a person outside the cabin.
Casey looked out the window to check and saw no one. Then I felt the hair on my body stand up like there was an unwanted presence in the room, I turned my head and I saw a woman with long hair and a white dress standing on the hallway that divide the living room to the dining room. I thought I was the only one who saw her when Jeff said something like "How did she get in?"
Casey answered "who" and as we turned to Casey to tell her that there was a woman inside the cabin, the woman quickly disappeared from sight and there was this cold wind that blew out the flame on the candle. I screamed and then Casey screamed until we woke up our friends.
We were shell shocked until the next morning, the rest of our friends are still asking us like "what did she look like?" until one person living nearby overheard us and asked us if we saw her, the white lady.
Jeff told the person that yes we did see someone who resembles a woman dressed in white. The person who has lived there for almost 30 years then told us that there was a middle aged woman who was murdered at that cabin 20 years ago before it was sold as a vacation cabin and that numerous people have seen her haunting the house ever since.
Knowing about all of these, we decided that we should cut our hiking plans and go back to the city once and for all. We never wanted to end up as like those characters from the movie "Blair Witch Project". Up to this day I consider that as the scariest moment of my life.
