I have a friend who still lives in a small town. She has told me about a lot of things that happen in their house, weird unexplainable things. Like there was this one night when she stayed up watching TV, it was about 12 midnight. I know this sounds fishy but this is how it really happened.
She and her aunt were watching their favorite TV series. She was sure that everyone else was sleeping already and they were the only two people awake in the house. They were watching TV in the living room and she suddenly got the urge to go to the kitchen to get a drink.
She went to the bathroom to pee first before going to the kitchen. As she opened the door of their bathroom she saw someone who went pass her to go to the kitchen also. She was really sure she saw a figure that went inside the kitchen. At first she thought it was her aunt so she didn't mind it. She continued her way to the kitchen. She was shocked to see that the room was empty! If it was her aunt how could she go back to the living room without going passed her? Or how could anybody if ever somebody else did wake up could be that fast? Unless they are playing a prank on her but who could think of such a thing at that hour?
So she immediately went back to the living room where her aunt was. She asked her if she ever went to the kitchen while she was away but her aunt said she didn't. That's when my friend started to feel her hair on her neck begin to rise. She didn't tell her aunt what had just happened. Maybe she was just too tired and imagining things already.
She wanted to go to her bedroom and hide under her covers but she doesn't want to leave her aunt all alone also. So she decided to let the program finish. But she suddenly had the feeling that there's someone else in the room! She looked at her aunt to tell her what she saw. But her aunt was already signaling her to be silent and told her that she saw it also.
And whatever it is it's watching them from the door to the kitchen. Her aunt told her to relax because it can't hurt them. Her aunt showed her where it is and she saw a cloudy figure of an old man just standing there, as if smiling at them. Her aunt told her that she got used seeing the old man's ghost. And she also told my friend that the kitchen is his favorite place in the whole house. She thinks he's the prior owner of the house and that he really loves his house so much that even death can't separate them.
This is just one of her stories and I think the most detailed one she ever told me!
